Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
References in this returns policy to “we” and “us” are to WHD
In addition to the Distance Selling Regulations, you may return any item to us within 14 days of receipt for a refund of that item. The goods are your responsibility until they reach us and we recommend you use recorded delivery so that the item can be traced in the event of a problem. If you choose to use a method of return that does not provide proof of delivery, we cannot be held responsible if the goods are lost and we will be unable to process your return. We reserve the right not to issue a refund to you if your return item contravenes our Returns, Cancellation and Refunds policy.
With each order we will provide you with a Returns Form incorporating a returns label. The Returns Form should be completed and the label attached to the outside of the package and taken to a post office. Our return address is Want Her Dress, PO BOX 281, Upminster, RM14 9BQ, United Kingdom.
Items must be returned in their original condition with garment tags attached and any packaging. Underwear should be tried on over underwear. Returns that are damaged, soiled or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to you at your expense. Please ensure you package the return item securely to prevent any damage.
At present we do not process exchanges and items should be returned using the process outlined in these pages.
How to make a Return:
Complete the Returns Form (enclosed with your order)
Repack the item (please see ‘Item Condition’ above) and enclose the Returns Form. It is important that we are aware of the order number which your return item relates to and your details. Without this information we will be unable to process your return, so if you have lost your Returns Form e-mails at firstname.lastname@example.org
Address your parcel using the return address label on your Returns Form (enclosed with your order)
Go to your nearest Post Office and ask them to arrange to send the item to us, at your expense, using a service that can be traced in the event of a problem
Obtain a certificate of posting from the Post Office. Keep this certificate safe as this will act as your proof of return
If you are based in the EU you have the right to cancel your order with us under the Distance Selling Regulations. You will need to provide written notice within seven working days of receipt of the goods. You must let us know in writing if you wish to cancel the contract for your order, the easiest way is to e-mail email@example.com.
If you decide to cancel we will issue a full refund however you will need to return you order to us at your expense, if you have already received it (see ‘RETURNS’ above).
For goods returned under the Distance Selling Regulations we will refund the amount due to you as soon as possible but not later than 30 days from the date you have given us notice of cancellation.
In this case we will refund the price of the product in full, including a refund of the delivery charges (if applicable) for sending the item(s) to you.
Faulty or Incorrect Goods
Products returned by you because you say they are defective or not what you ordered, will be inspected by us and an e-mail sent to you advising you of your refund entitlement as soon as is reasonably possible.
Provided that the product is defective or not as ordered and you have returned the product within the 14 day returns period, we will refund the price of the product in full, including a refund of the delivery charges (if applicable) for sending the item to you.
The refund will be issued as soon as possible but not later than 30 days from the date we confirm by e-mail that the product has been inspected and that you are entitled to a refund.
Other refunds will include the price of the product but will not include a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you.
All other refunds will be issued as soon as possible but not later than 30 days from the date we are in receipt of an item returned to us in accordance with the ‘RETURNS’ policy (above).
